Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.
About TED
TED is a global foundation devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then, its scope has become ever broader.
With its two annual conferences, video website TED.com, initiatives and community projects, TED is now a platform and a global movement focused on meaningful change through the power of ideas.

Nazan İVAZ
Nazan İvaz was born in Ankara in 1967. She studied electric-electronics engineering and took her MBA degree in Middle East Technical University. During 1995-1998, she worked as consultant in a World Bank project which was coordinated by the Undersecretariat of Treasury. Then in between 1998-2007, she worked as a SAP consultant and team lead at Havelsan. Business life was then put on hiatus.
