"TedxAnkaraCitadel 2014" Message of our Curator Berrin Benli

Dear TEDx Friends,

TED and TEDx organizations arrange events that are merely built on volunteerism, non profitable, aiming to create value, highly respectful, authentic and content focused. The events are thematic based and conducted on wide range of subjects like science, technology, design, innovation, education, entrepreneurship, art and history. They are independent platforms where unique contents of the speakers are being inspired and new ideas are being created.

We introduced this magnificient world to Ankara a year ago. We organised our first event "TEDxAnkaraCitadel 2013" where the theme was "Courses of Life" (Curricula Vitae)”, at Cengelhan Rahmi M Koc Museum in Ankara Castle that is one of the most historical and cultural places of Ankara. That event was performed in a joyous atmosphere with our friends in the first and only industry museum of Ankara. We enjoyed the event where we shared incredible special feelings, information and experiences. We organised our second “TEDxAnkaraCitadel” event based on our past experiences, the courage we got from you, to live and to come alive once more the spirit of TED. "TEDxAnkaraCitadel 2014" event that has the theme of "Codes and Symbols" is going to be performed on 10th of March Ankara State Art and Sculpture Museum in Ulus area which is one of the most historical and culturals symbols of Ankara. We are passionate about creating an environment in which we can assess the impact of “codes, symbols and signs” in human history, explore the effects and importance of them in our everyday lives, raising the relevant awareness and inspiration. The TEDx guests are invited to his wonderful ambience where everybody can find very authentic information and experience in terms of personal development. Still we do live broadcast of the event on our web site for the ones who want to follow this splendid allocation.

We look forward to meeting you in State Art and Sculpture Museum and share this experience...
