Architect, Engineer, Academician

He has graduated from Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of Karadeniz Technical University, in 1974 as an Architect-Engineer. He started PhD degree at the Technical University of Berlin Faculty of Architecture, in 1982. In Berlin, he worked on various areas such as: architecture, photography, graphic arts, counselling and teaching to children, computer teacher, computer programming, and computer animation.

After returning to Turkey in 1999, he prepared Master’s thesis on interactive computer games and new media at Ankara University in the Political Science Department. He worked as a lecturer in the Department of Cinema of Ankara University Faculty of Communication Radio, Television.

Since 1997, he is working as lecturer, at METU Industrial Design Department, and gives lectures on the following subjects; interaction design, 3D modelling and animation, computer design, prototyping, and virtual reality.

He continues his works in the Faculty of Architecture and Technopolis on museum and exhibition design, interactive user interface, three-dimensional scanner hardware and software development, computer games, advertising media as interactive projection system design, etc.. He has conducted, with his team, interactive content design and production of more than 35 museums including Expo 2016 Agriculture and Biodiversity Museum.
